"American Hispanics speak out against illegal immigration and amnesty" at www.dontspeakforme.org

Our families played by the rules to immigrate to this country legally and respect the laws, rules, customs and norms of this great nation, our adopted homeland. We are GRATEFUL that we have been allowed to achieve the American Dream in an honorable, respectful manner. We love this country!

I see a lot of talk but no action. Many of you mat not agree with me about illegal aliens but a fight is comming. A real fight with lives lost. If all we do is write comments they will take everything without a fight.
TIGER 100--- You are wrong....
They did not take over, it was given to them. Free, without a shot fired. Just a bunch of Blogs.
I saw this web site in the news paper today and thought I had found a site with some backbone but all I see is people who like to talk.
Its going to take people with action to stop it. You can be a Jelly Fish or a Shark.
Where do you stand ? or do you crawl ?

The news seems to keep a blind
eye to the crimes, murderers
drugs, etc... that are crossing our
borders, and i am a little sick
of hearing how we are bigots
for wanting our nation to take
a stand at homeland security,in our own homeland...what is wrong with wanting safety over cheap labor... ? would someone like to tell me - how my families safety should come in 2nd to illegals ?

First of all lets get the Illegal Immigration straight. Illegal Immigration began in the year 1492. Maybe my tribe and the other Native Americans should have built a fence or killed everone that stepped on our shore. But we did not. We accepted these illegal immigrants in our country. And they are still here today. Illegal Immigration is not a new issue. Its a continuing issue. If you think that you can kick out all of the illegal immigrants in the US you are greatly mistaken. So many towns would be ghost towns. So many businesses would close. Our economy would fall greatly. I think that the borders should be closed. I think that the ilegals here should have to pay a hefty fine for coming into the US illegally. I do believe that they should recieve somekind of identification here in the US so that they can be identified. I do believe that insurance should be provided for them so that the wrecks and deaths on the highways can be paid for. I do believe that our current DUI laws are weak and should be stronger to discourage them from drinking and driving. I do believe if they go to jail for a felony that they should be deported. But lets face facts...all the children that have been born to illegal immigrants are American citizens. They were born here just like your illegal immigrant ancestors were. I believe that the Social Services only should be for American Citizens, not illegal immigrants. I believe that they should pay upfront for all services. I believe that we has Americans have become lazy in our commitment to our nation and to our State of SC. I believe that as South Carolinians we are losing our culture, our hospitality, and our morals. But lets not just look at the hispanics, lets look at the Orientals that are here illegally, the illegals for Jamaica, Africa, Europe, Canada, there are alot more here that just hispanics. Instead of talking about it, lets get together to do something about it. Lets vote to put people in office that will do something. Lets look at the illegal immigration situation as a whole and not in segregated parts. I could go on and on with this subject. Hope you will decide what is best for your town and your community, but taking all of the illegals out of the country will be detremental to many small towns, businesses, and communities.

Lone Protester- Rally for South Carolina at the Statehouse 03/10/08

Today is a day that I have been wanting to see happen for a while. This is the first time that I have seen so many South Carolinians together, speaking out against the same thing. About 200 people showed up at the rally on the north steps of the SC Statehouse at 1200 noon today. The event was organized by Pat Matthews of the Horry County MinutemanCDC (Myrtle Beach). The slate of speakers consisted of the Republicans running against Senator Lindsey Graham this year, Buddy Witherspoon, Mark McBride, and Tim Carnes. Mr. Witherspoon started off his speech by saying, press one for English and two for Spanish and got everybody laughing. I think that any of these guys would be a shoe in to defeat Senator Graham. Mark McBride is the mayor of Myrtle Beach, his daughter was sexually harassed last year in school by an illegal alien and that man’s anger was very visible in his speech. He also got Myrtle Beach to declare that it wasn’t a sanctuary city. And that is one helluva lot more that any other politician in this state has done so far regarding illegal immigration.

I got to talk to Tim Carnes and Buddy Witherspoon personally. Tim Carnes is from Greenville, SC and has never been in politics And Buddy is from Lexington which is a suburb of Columbia. What surprised me was that both of them had heard about my case.
Another speaker was Roan Garcia-Quintana from Greenville, Roan is probably one of the hardest working people in South Carolina dealing with illegal immigration. He is the executive director of www.americanshavehadenough.org. Click on his web site and you will see what I am talking about. He travels all over this state, lobbying politicians, making speeches and is doing everything he can to help turn the tide. He publishes a darn good illegal immigration newsletter at his website that I look at every morning. Roan’s family came here from Cuba in the early 1960’s and he is retired from a career in education.

There was another speaker, Margaret Thompson of Seneca, (home to Lindsey Graham and John Edwards). She is a councilwoman on the city council and does not accept a salary. She travels around the state, like Roan does, doing everything she can to help take this state back. I have seen her at every meeting I have been to in the last few months. In my opinion, Councilwoman Margaret Thompson is the one that should be running to replace John McCain’s shadow. That lady will get right in your face and tell you exactly like it is. To her, everything is about this state and it’s people. She needs to run for a higher office because she is a lot more aware of the problems in my industry and this state than the politicians that I read about. And she cares.

There were quite a few television reporters there. There were from stations in Columbia, Charleston and Greenville, I was interviewed by Diana Watson of WHNS-TV of Greenville, a FOX affiliate and by Myra Ruiz of WYFF-4 TV of Greenville. My favorite reporter from the State newspaper, Noelle Phillips attended even though she did not question me and Jeff West, a reporter from the Times-Examiner in Greenville. I also got interviewed by a reporter from the Associated Press. There were a lot of media there, even from some radio stations so we should be getting a lot of press from it. I just wonder if our politicians inside the statehouse got the message. Probably not, one of the speakers asked if any politicians were in the audience and no hands were raised. So, our esteemed state senators and congressmen were either having a meeting or hiding out while the people of South Carolina had their say.

The thing that I fail to understand in all of this is real simple. Why, in the name of God, are our politicians here discussing illegal immigration laws when every law that we need to deal with the problem is already on the books? Why can’t they simply decide to enforce those laws instead of passing even more laws that are probably going to be ignored anyway? What is so hard to understand about that? The people of South Carolina have been hard hit by illegal immigration and our politicians have completely ignored it until now. And the only reason it is being discussed now is because this is an election year and they are worried about staying in office.

I don’t know what kind of legislation is going to be passed in the next few days but I will bet you my last few pennies that it will not be beneficial to the citizens here. These politicians are more worried about what the SC Chamber of Commerce thinks about them than they are the citizens of this great state. There was a lot of anger and disgust expressed by the people around me at our politicians and Lindsey Graham in particular. Our primary is coming up in June and Senator Graham is going to hate to see that day get here.

four things...

***i just got the email re calling senator ritchie and his promise to inact the nations strongest legislation.

his phone # is wrong.
it should be

864 316-2096
not
316-2906.

***i have made it a habit to carry a camera with me. when i see hispanics working i stop and take photos. photos of the hispanics and photos of the company trucks they work for. i make sure that the person in charge knows what i am doing. my camera does not have film in it but they dont know that. i just want to scare these companies into doing the right thing.

so far i have seen the local car wash change their work force from hispanics to teenagers. every little bit helps.

***has anybody noticed that a majority of the workers on our road and bridge projects are hispanic? on my recent trips to savannah all i see are hispanic workers it seems.

it makes me wonder what our state govt is doing if even our state funded construction projects have illegals workin for the contractors.

***i was working for sears and encountered a number of small contractors who have had equipment stolen. it seems that hispanic laborers are stealing equipment from job sites. then they start their own biz by stealing customers from the very contractors they used to work for.

how can a legitmate small biz compete with fly by nights who... pay no taxes, have no liscensing and leave the county when their shoddy workmanship catches up with them?

local police do not want to deal with these problems because their hands are tied when it comes to illegal immigrants.

on a national level we need to make sure that the children of illegals no longer become american citizens. this loop hole needs to be closed.

i was watching george lopez the comic on hbo and he laughed an said this to his hispanic audience... this is OUR country now. they just dont know it yet!

oh really? not if this ol man can help it.

*************

on a side note... i recently read a report from the manhattan institute i beleive an they say that their are closer to

39,000,000 illegals here NOT the 13 million as our goverment claims.

why do i believe the 39 mil figure over the 13 mil figure? because our goverment is in the habit of lying an downplaying issues.

say it slowly.....

39 MILLION folks who have thumbed their noses at our laws and our politicians have let them.

39 MILLION........

and we wonder why our health care system is broke.

Concerning immigration, the real issue is the non-white invasion of formerly white America. Legal immigration is as big a threat as illegal immigration. Legal immigrants are 90 percent non-white. Before 1965, all immigrants into the US were white Europeans. They were put into the American melting pot (allowed to marry into American families) and were assimilated. Americans now have a choice. Accept their children entering into inter-racial marriages, or opt to split up into racially seperate nations. Both choices are unacceptable to most white Americans. No people can survive without a homeland. Americans of European descent are losing their homeland and will go extinct unless we take back our country. Yes, our ancestors have their roots in Europe. That does not mean we must accept unlimited non-European immigration. Or ANY non-European immigration. White Europeans fought and died for our American homeland. It is our children's birthright. The USA is not ours to give away to foreigners.

I have been in construction 27 years and have been out of work for 2 years now. I apply for work and American contractors ask if I speak spanish. In reply I say no. They say I do not need you. You Americans, hire Americans only! If you hire illegals, this is one of the reasons why America is going down. They do not pay taxes, they send their money over to their families in Mexico....Wake up America!

I was severely injured while employed by Canadian-based PCL Construction at the Motiva CEP project in Port Arthur, Texas. I received a complete tear in my right rotator cuff, 3 damaged disks in my neck, and nerve damage in my right arm. Despite my injuries, PCL laid me off AFTER I reported an intoxicated PCL supervisor at the site (a federal violation). PCL then choose to REFUSE an invitation to address legitimate safety issues in a proposed meeting with local veterans. Every major contractor on the project employs foreign nationals who are not properly trained in safety, quality control, etc..primarily from the Phillipines, India and Mexico. How would you feel if you found out foreign nationals were commiting safety violations in a refinery located only a few hundred yards from where your children were playing on their playground? I would like to ask all AMERICANS to contact PCL at 303-365-6500 to protest this treatment. Thank you.
